Zee Sports was rebranded to Ten Action in 2010, which featured adventures sports . and non-cricket content such as tennis and football. Ten also launched a separate feed for Pakistan.

On 18 July 2017, the channels were rebranded under the Sony umbrella with the “Sony” brand attached as a prefix on the sports channels, in addition with the launch of the HD simulcasts.

Its Pakistani feed broadcasts original content from Dubai Media City headquarters and cricket matches of International Cricket CouncilAsian Cricket Council. Ten Sports Pakistan, although having the same brand as its Indian sister channel, does not air simulcast programming from Sony Sports channels.

Sony Six and Sony ESPN, which were launched before Sony’s purchase of Ten, effectively became part of the group when the acquisition was completed. Both SD and HD versions of Sony ESPN was shutdown on 31st March 2020.

It broadcasts events from the World Athletics ChampionshipsAsian GamesCommonwealth Games and Sukma Games. Its programming schedule also consists on live coverage of the Hopman CupAustralian OpenATP,rallying, horse racing, beach volleyball events and NBAWWE Raw (along with the 30-minute pre-show) and WWE SmackDown are currently broadcast live weekly, along with NXTMain Event, WWE Sunday Dhamaal and (generally) monthly pay-per-view specials.[2]

It airs cricket matches from the PakistanSri LankaEnglandAustralia and South Africa boards.[4] It also broadcasts UEFA Champions League matches.[5][6]

Sony Ten Golf[edit]

It was an HD, golf-focused channel launched on 7 October 2015. It had the broadcasting rights to the European TourAsian TourRyder CupLPGA TourRoyal TrophyUS PGA ChampionshipSenior PGA ChampionshipProfessional Golf Tour of India, and Ladies European Tour.[7] The channel was closed on 31st December 2018.
